December FAQ Scrub
We've just passed 6 months of open beta, and we've been developing like madmen and madwomen, so there are a bunch of cases where our FAQs are out of date or there are new features that aren't documented anywhere but in code tours/news posts.
This/next week, I am making it my project to:
a). go through every single FAQ on the site to identify things that need to be updated (wrong limits, feature enhancements, etc)
b). write new FAQs for all completely-new features that aren't yet documented.
This is not so much to ask for help -- it's the kind of full-on scrub that I think is best done by a single person to make sure things don't fall through the cracks -- but it is a request for pointers! What things have you noticed that aren't documented/are underdocumented? (For instance, sticky entries aren't really well-documented at all, etc.) I'll be making my own list, and going through past code tours, but I never remember everything our site can do and could use a hand :)

a few bullet points without really knowing what's already in the FAQs:
* subscription filters (including default views)
* active entries module as a paid feature
* maintainer security setting in comms
* sponsor a user

We need a FAQ on journal search (how to do it, where, maybe URL args and or shortcuts). It maybe could be added to that FAQ or perhaps a separate FAQ would be more appropriate.
update FAQ 76 (the reading filters one) with something about the default view. Actually, that whole FAQ needs to be revised I think.

should link to the FAQ on how change your journal style. May need to be reciprocal. Also should maybe link to Dreamscapes, as it's official.

The second Create Communitiy link is pointing at the wrong link. It's the old one, not the new one.

*badly* needs to be updated. I think Fey has an updated list on the wiki somewhere, but I am not positive.

Need to add a max tag length blurb to the FAQ referenced there.
http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=97&view=full should have information about the different site schemes (Celerity being the main one) as well as ?usescheme= for pages. Don't know if you want to mention the other ones too.
(From Dom) On the 'tell a friend' pages, everything has been stripped, and we're now calling the feature 'share this entry' or something like that. The text should be standardized (both on the original form entry and the success page).

That one is about leaving a deleted community. You can move it elsewhere if it seems more appropriate. I just stuck it in known issues because that's the only one I can edit. :)
A FAQ for community maintainers that describes how to track all
comments left to their community would be good too. The request about
that is here: http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/see_request?id=3718

Paid account fairy (maybe add to http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=137). should have opt-out info.
Sticky entry (http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/see_request?id=3640)

If my answer there would be helpful in a FAQ somewhere, feel free to grab it.

To whit, under is wrong. The correct syntax is ?style=site&usescheme=celerity, or the entry will continue to show in the journal style.

http://www.dreamwidth.org/support/faqbrowse?faqid=87 doesn't mention how to link to an OpenID account with the user name tag or with another method if it isn't possible with DW tags.

The option ljcut doesn't work any longer, and should be replaced with option cut
