Copy Editing: Save button is grayed out!

I tried copy editing four different pages and on all four, the [Save] button was grayed out. Does this mean someone is already proofing the page? Or is it something else?

Edit: And now it's not grayed out anymore...

Typically, it happens when you don't have translate privs in the language you're trying to work in. If it happens again, check the lang= in the URL in your browser's address bar.

*snerk* ig had the same thing happened, and she was restarting her computer, trying different browsers, having other people try the search, &c. (it wasn't until someone not on the CE team went "it's greyed out for me" and I was halfway through saying "yes well you need translate privs that the logged-out thing occurred to me.)

really, the translate interface should be (way way better, but also) sitescheme. but it isn't.
