I'm inclined towards capitalising them. They're specific to us, and have special meanings on Dreamwidth which aren't part of regular English, so I think they warrant it. It's only an inclination though, so I'm happy to go the other way if the consensus is otherwise.
I noticed the other day, looking at the raw strings, that there seems to have been a mix in use, but couldn't tell without going back and looking at the pages where all the strings were used if there was a rule behind it, or if it was inconsistent.
As a concerned memeber of the public :-) I agree with this. Capitalisation of specialised terms like that makes it very much easier to read FAQs and instructions.

I had wondered if I might have misread the style page where is said to capitalise dw-special terms.
I agree with turlough and you that it makes them easier to read and clearer.
